My experience with JT Spas has been nothing short of a nightmare. I placed an order for over £1,100 on June 28th, 2024, and what followed was a series of infuriating delays, broken promises, and complete lack of communication. Despite their assurances, my order was never fulfilled, and when I requested a refund, I was met with endless excuses and delays.

After canceling my order in late July due to their failure to deliver, I was told that my refund would be processed within 7-14 days. That never happened. I had to constantly chase them via email, and their responses were always vague and unhelpful, blaming my bank for delays even though the refund was supposedly processed on August 5th. It’s now nearly September, and I still haven't seen a penny of my money back.

Their customer service is abysmal. Every bit of information I received was only because I chased them down. Phone calls went unanswered, and I was left in the dark about the status of my refund. This company clearly has no regard for its customers and is incapable of fulfilling orders or issuing refunds in a timely manner.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid JT Spas like the plague. I’m now forced to escalate this matter through my credit card company and report them to Trading Standards. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any retailer. Absolutely disgraceful.

I have to give a star to write a review. If I could give a minus, I would!
Ordered a whirlpool bath costing just under £4K on 17.11.23 with a delivery time of 6-8 weeks. It didn’t arrive and after numerous emails/phone calls (20+), it became evident that it wasn’t coming. The constant lies I have been told by this company is beyond comprehension, ‘the part we’re waiting for is coming round the Cape of Africa due to the Ukrainian war’, has to be the best excuse I’ve ever heard for something being 6 months late, I can only presume it was being sent by Kayak!
I asked had they ever been investigated by trading standards and the said they had, I’d advise TS to go back and take another look.
After further investigation I discovered the bespoke bath hadn’t even been ordered.
Their only saving grace was immediately returning my money.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Do not buy from this company. It seems everything is great unless something goes wrong!! First my whirlpool bath was lost and took 3 weeks to be delivered. Then it didn’t work and JTSpas refused to rectify the problem without payment for a call out. They blamed installation which is impossible as this only involved connection to the waste and electricity. I have repeatedly asked that a manager contact me to help, but they never do. I have now agreed to pay £252 for an engineer (as I feel I have no choice if I want my bath fixed) and still I am being ignored and nothing has been arranged. It is now more than 2 months since I received the spa bath and no resolve. Their customer service is disgusting. I am now £1350 out of pocket and stuck with a bath that not fit for purpose. Shame on you JTSpas!!
Update. Today is 3rd October and the bath has finally been collected after 5 months of stress and the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! After receiving a disclaimer which I was required to sign exempting JTspas from any of their legal obligations and a request to pay for an engineer to visit, I took legal advice and refused to do so. I claimed my money back through my credit card which was paid back in full and JTSpas did not even attempt to defend it, as they knew damn well they didn’t have a leg to stand on. I haven’t received as much as an apology. My advice to anyone in the same situation is not to be bullied, contact your bank/credit card and do not give way to their demands.
Also don’t believe the reviews on their website. I have left several negative ones and surprise, surprise they do not feature!!

JT spas : Horrible service & dishonest - late delivery and badly broken items

My review : Ordered 2 bathtubs on the 19th of December 2023. The promised time of delivery was 14th of Feb 2024 bathtubs arrived end of March : 40 days late !!!

Item arrives broken :
1 of the bathtub arrives broken and I sent them a photo and an email the next day.
The response I get is basically a very standard message sending a .pdf on how to fix it yourself ! I mean the damages are bad and even 2 plumbers on site are not sure how to actually fix the non standard broken parts (plastic covers and pipes that are essentially hard glued to the shel)

After 7 emails and phone calls I finally manage to have someone that tells me :

“ I have managed to speak to the engineer. There would be a charge of £79 to send out the spare parts to fix your bath which I can send you a quote for it and once that’s paid we can send out the parts.”

(…)

“ We take great care to ensure that all items are delivered to you in perfect condition, so it's distressing to learn that your order arrived damaged. However, it seems that the damage occurred after the delivery, as the item was handled post-delivery.”

> So now out of nowhere it’s suddenly my fault if the items where delivered broken and I have to pay for the repair kit?!

After another call, I have been unable to speak to any senior member of staff, and I received this message :

“I have spoken to management and they have agreed to reduce the amount to £49”

> This is my objective experience so far and review of my experience with JTspas and the “sales team” in 2024.

I will post a follow up if they actually take accountability.

I told them I was potentially going to order 6 more bathtubs as I am currently building more accommodation on site. Not even interested in realising the potential loss.

I purchased a jaccuzzi/spa bath from JT Spas. Whilst I have no complaints relating to their customer service or delivery, my issue is with the product. My spa looks and works beautifully. However it seems to either be fragile or have a design fault. There is a plastic cover that conceals the waste. When in place and if stepped on can move and when it does it can puncture a hole in the fibreglass spa which it has done on two occasions now the first causing terrible flooding. I now no longer place it in the bath but wish I had learned from the first time it happened. The material the cover is made from is not the same as the bath, its solid quite heavy plastic that chips or in my case punctures the fibreglass with minimal force. I think JT Spas need to re-think this design.

Do not deal with this company or person. It’s an absolute rip off. They promise a delivery date of 1/2 weeks and then 3 months after they say oh your delivery is coming today but you need to be there to help offload it. The delivery driver who was a subcontractor told me the local factory who make the baths as a fraction of the cost only got the order days ago despite JT spas saying it has been made months ago. Lies after lies. Do not deal with them. Look around as they are expensive and you will not get your goods within the time you are promised. I know of two people now with similar experiences. Also they write emails with different names but it’s the same one man band pretending they are a large company. Actually it’s one man operating as a drop shipper from Belfast. Stay away don’t make my mistake

My own experience with this company is disaster. This company run from no idea where. They had one person take orders and answer phones and lie to customer. Please read feed back from customer before making order as such companies use your money when you make the order and fail to deliver. I placed an order for Quadrant shower and stone tray and paid in full in order. 10 days elapsed and never received acknowledgement or the order and started to ring the company and said we have to contact the couriers and call you back. They never call back. 17 Times I have to call them daily nearly and every time they have different excuses to us finally after 22 days I called them and they said, the courier is going to collect from our warehouse Friday and they will contact you. again 5 more days I waited and no calls from them or at least delivery date. Finally, after failing to get a date for delivery from them i realized this company is playing tactics, using your money to gain interest and they failing to deliver. I lost faith in such company how they operate in U.K and to the level you have to stress out, lose patience to fight for your order to be delivered. They lie on their web as there Web is designed in a manner to trap people and when it comes to service and delivery it is rubbish. To get refund after cancellation after waiting 22 days and failing to get our order I have had no choice but to cancel the order and wait another 10 days to receive our refund. What a brilliant customer service from company like this who kept lying and promising without delivery. At the end I have to order it from Victorian plumbing and pay £34 additional charge to get the Quadrant shower next day delivery. Please please do not use such company as they are selling you words and no actions !!!!

Here come the clowns...

I ordered a steam bath on 28th December. They couldn't find a box so just didn't bother to dispatch it. Eventually after several calls from me due to bathroom beung ripped out/plumbers boooked, and facing cancellation, I was offered a different model.

This was almost a month after I placed the order. They could have offered an alternative from the start! I explained I was away for a long weekend when delivery was due.

The delivery arrived, at a time different to what was arranged, when I was not home my 85 year old neighbours had to let the driver in.

When the plumber opened the packaging after I returned from the weekend the panels were damaged on 6 corners and the coating flaking.

JT Spas refused to replace them and told me to bend them back and offered £50 'as a goodwill gesture'. The unit cost me £1599.

I declined and requested £150 refund to settle. They have refused this and say it's my fault for not opening the boxes within 24-48hrs. I'd rather refuse the £50 and tell Jo Public not to buy from these clowns.
